Building better consumer decision systems.
Product leader and founder-operator. I built Kult from zero to one by rethinking beauty ecommerce from the user's side — discovery, personalization, catalog intelligence, and the moments where people decide what to trust.
I like products where the user is deciding, not just browsing. Beauty was the proof case: people needed help understanding what works, what doesn't, and why — and weak recommendations break trust fast. That's the kind of problem I'm drawn to.
Recent advisory and founder-led product systems across conversational shopping, personalization, catalog intelligence and decision support.
Designed and built a conversational recommendation experience for a skincare brand: it takes a user from open-ended intent to a confident product choice in their own words. The hard part wasn't the conversation — it was making it reliable: knowing when to answer, when to defer, and where the assistant should not go.

One model generated the fields, a second model checked them against its own research, and disagreements went to a person before anything was trusted. AI created the reach; a verification layer kept it dependable at catalog scale.
Built a deterministic match-score system that scored every product against a user's profile and made both fit and mismatch visible — including a clear "not for you" with a reason. The deliberate call: show low-fit signals even at the cost of a sale, because in a trust-sensitive category, preventing a wrong purchase builds more confidence than pushing every product equally.
Read case study →Redesigned a one-time quiz into a staged profiling system: useful from three answers, stronger with every signal collected in context. The senior challenge was designing the degraded state — delivering real value on partial information, then deepening as the user revealed more, so every answer visibly improved the next moment.
Read case study →Turned the most subjective beauty decision into a measured one: every foundation shade captured through spectrophotometer data, converted into structured attributes, and matched across brands so a user could start from one shade they trusted and discover alternatives with confidence. A new operational data layer made it work at catalog scale.
Read case study →Designed a contextual homepage system for Kult that moved beyond broad user segments. The surface could prioritize routine gaps, replenishment, cart recovery, concern-led nudges, twin-backed discovery, offers, or product education based on what mattered for that user in that moment.
Read case study →I started in investment banking — J.P. Morgan, ICICI Securities (healthcare-delivery) and Investec — before building Kult. That background shaped how I think about risk, capital and commercial reality. Founding changed the rest: you learn to make product decisions before there's consensus or certainty. At Kult, I built and led a ~100-person organization, with 15+ product, design and tech collaborators across build cycles, and took the platform from zero to 400K+ users.
